6th Grade Wayne Thiebaud Project
6th Graders studied Wayne Thiebaud, a contemporary artist who is now 96 years old! (He was born in 1920.) He is known for his colorful depiction of everyday objects, such as pies, lipsticks, ice cream cones, hot dogs and pastries, as well as for his figure and landscape paintings. Students drew from life and from imagination to create their own Wayne Thiebaud-inspired compositions. Check out those shadows!
